Privacy Policy

We respect the privacy of our users. We do not sell or give your information to anyone. We do not send you unsolicited email. If you have provided us with your email or other personal information, we will not use your information for purposes other than for the management of this website. You may contact us at any time to have us remove you from our mailing list.

This privacy policy describes the kinds of information we collect, how we collect it, and how we use that information.

Personally Identifiable Information (“Personal Information”) is information that can be used to identify you as an individual. Examples include; your name, gender, birth date, mailing address, telephone number, email address, credit card information, and password.

We may collect Personal Information when you (a) make a purchase, (b) register as a member, (c) voluntarily provide it when you use the Site, (d) disclose it in a public area of the Site (such as a posting a product review), or (e) provide it when you choose to communicate with us.

Non-Personally Identifiable Information (“Non-Personal Information”) is information that cannot be used to identify you as an individual. Non-Personal Information includes information such as the time of your visit, your browser type, the URL of the previous Web site you visited, the Web pages and advertisements you view or select, and the types of services you use on our Site. Non-Personal Information also includes “Collective Information”, which is described below in the section titled “How Do We Use the Information?”

We may automatically collect certain types of Non-Personal Information when you use the Site. We may also collect Non-Personal Information that you voluntarily provide (such as information included in response to a questionnaire or survey) or post to a public area of the Site (such as a product review).

Cookies. A “cookie” is a small data file message that is sent to your browser from a Web server and may be stored on your computer’s hard drive. If you are a registered user, we may use a cookie to save your settings to provide personalized service. The cookies we generate contain Personal Information that you have provided. We may also use cookies (a) to store your password and (b) to keep track of which shopping cart belongs to you when you shop our Site. We use cookies only for the operation of our Site. These cookies do not enable third parties to access your Personal Information.

An IP Address is a number that is assigned to your computer automatically by your Internet Service Provider (Examples include: Verizon, Comcast, SBC Global, Earthlink, AOL, or MSN) when you use the Internet. We may collect IP Addresses for the purposes of systems administration, server problem diagnosis, and to compile Collective Information (such as how many visitors logged on to the Site). When you visit a particular Web page on the Site, our servers log your IP Address. Your IP Address is not linked in any way to your Personal Information.

By using specific elements of the Site, you provide information to us by choice. Examples include registering for an account, purchasing products, participation in polls, posting reviews of products, and communicating with us.

We will not disclose your Personal Information to third parties without your permission. If you make a purchase from our Site, we will use the Personal Information you provide for shipping and billing purposes only, unless you expressly give us permission to use it for promotional and marketing purposes. Such permission may be revoked by you at any time.

We may use the Personal Information you provide (a) to administer and manage your account and (b) to include you on mailing lists. In addition, we may disclose your Personal Information if we believe, in good faith, that (a) it is required by any applicable law or legal process, if (b) we believe we need to disclose it to protect or enforce our rights or the rights of our members, users, or other third parties, or (c) in the event of an emergency which requires the use of such information.

We may disclose Non-Personal Information in connection with improving the services we offer and facilitating our marketing efforts. In addition, we may combine your Non-Personal Information that relates to your use of the Site with that of other users (“Collective Information”) to determine which areas of the Site are most popular, and how our services are used. By collecting this Collective Information and analyzing it, we can use it to improve our Site. We may disclose Collective Information in connection with improving the services we offer and in facilitating our marketing efforts.

We do not control the privacy policies of our advertisers or other third parties that have Web sites linked to the Site. If you click on an advertisement or link, the privacy policies of the Web site that you link to will govern the use of your information by that Web site’s operator. We assume no responsibility or liability for the actions of such third parties with respect to their use of your information or otherwise.

If you voluntarily disclose information in a public area of the Site, such as a posting a product review, that information may be collected and used by a third party to send you unsolicited messages, advertisements or for other purposes. We do not control the actions of these third parties in public areas of the Site, so if you disclose information in a public area, you do so at your own risk.

Although we do exert reasonable effort to protect the privacy of your information, transmissions on the Internet cannot be made 100% secure. Therefore, we will not assume any responsibility or liability for disclosure of any of your information due to errors in transmission, unauthorized third-party access, or other causes beyond our control.

We strongly believe in protecting the privacy of children. We encourage children to involve their parents in any interactive activity they participate in online. In accordance with the FCC’s COPPA regulations, we will not knowingly collect or use any Personal Information from children we know to be under the age of thirteen. In addition, once we are notified, we will take the necessary steps to delete any information in our databases that originates from a child under the age of thirteen (for legal reasons, we will maintain copies of any transaction histories if any were created.)

During the member registration process, you can “opt out” of receiving certain communications from Jerry Leventer. If you are already registered, you can still “opt out” from receiving these communications by contacting us.

You may request a copy of your Personal Information and request that we correct any errors in that information by contacting us. For your protection, you will be required to submit proof of your identity in order to obtain access to your Personal Information. If you desire, we will remove all of your Personal Information (except for your transaction histories) from our records upon your request. If you choose to delete your Personal Information, you may not be able to access some areas of the Site. We do request and appreciate that you attempt to keep your Personal Information up-to-date so that we may better serve you.

Please remember that protection of your privacy begins with you. You are solely responsible for maintaining the secrecy of any password you use to register, and you should always be responsible about disclosing your information online. Please keep in mind that Jerry Leventer will never request that you reveal personal information in an unsolicited email (one that you did not request). If you do receive such an email requesting social security number, credit card information, or passwords, etc., do not reply to the email, but please notify us immediately so we may investigate the source of the email and report it to the proper authorities.

By using this Site, you are accepting the collection of your information as outlined in this Privacy Policy, and we will have the right to use your information as described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to have your information used in any of the ways described in this Privacy Policy, you must immediately discontinue use of the Site. We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time. Your continued use of the Site after we either notify you personally or by posting such changes on the Site will constitute your acceptance of those changes.
