Carnegie Mellon Professor Randy Pausch (Born: Oct. 23, 1960, Died: July 25, 2008) gave his last lecture at the university Sept. 18, 2007, before a packed McConomy Auditorium at the Carnegie Mellon campus.
In his moving presentation, “Really Achieving Your Childhood Dreams,” Randy Pausch talked about the lessons he learned, and he gave advice to students on how to achieve their own personal and career goals.
Randy talks about the Programming Application Learning Tool for Kids, Alice. A model for “How to let kids have fun while learning something difficult.” The next version will show them how to program Java applications for the Internet.
