How To Submit Your Site To DMOZ Open Directory Project

I’m only now submittine my site to DMOZ, the Open Directory Project.

1. Read their guidelines here: DMOZ Submission Guidelines
2. Decide what category your site belongs under.
3. Wait a few months for their decision to include your site or not.

human-edited directory of the Web. It is constructed and maintained by

The Open Directory Project is a web directory of Internet resources. A web directory is something akin to a huge reference library. The directory is hierarchically arranged by subject – from broad to specific. The ODP is maintained by community editors who evaluate sites for inclusion in the directory. I am submitting to the Internet Marketing and Consulting category. Here is how the DMOZ project defines Internet Marketing:
